Resident Evil 3 is an intense survival game that challenges you to escape from the fictional Raccoon City while a horde of zombies is taking over.

When it comes to zombie games, very few series are as popular as Resident Evil. This franchise has continued to release some of the most well-known titles in the genre, and Resident Evil 3 is an excellent addition to that collection. From the action-packed storyline to the intense multiplayer matches, this game has a little something for everyone.

This release of Resident Evil does an excellent job of keeping what was great in the series while adding some extra twists and turns. Instead of immediately following the storyline of Resident Evil 2, this game actually takes place one day before that story starts. If you are a fan of Resident Evil 2, then you are going to find quite a few Easter eggs in this fast-paced horror game. In the campaign, you play as Jill Valentine as she makes her way through Raccoon city immediately following the zombie apocalypse.

While the zombies play a major role in this game, the primary enemy that you are fighting against is Nemesis. That bio-organic combatant was designed to take out members of the S.T.A.R. team, and it is going to require tactical skills and quick reflexes to beat it. As you navigate your way through hordes of zombies, you will need eyes in the back of your head if you want to avoid this relentless pursuer who will follow you to the ends of the earth.

The first thing that you are going to notice when you jump into this cutting-edge remake is the graphics, and the world has been beautifully remastered by the team over at Capcom. The environment is filled with small details that really bring the fictional city to life. Even the characters have been completely redesigned and given a huge update in terms of their movements as well as their overall appearance.

As for the multiplayer aspect of this game, there are a few balance issues that should have been addressed years ago. While you are sure to have fun playing with friends, you probably won’t be able to jump into any seriously competitive matches that leave you wanting more. It is the single-player campaign that sets this title apart from the competition.

Even though the multiplayer matches have some major flaws, this is still a must-have title for anyone who is a fan of the horror genre. As you make your way through Raccoon City, you will find yourself stumbling into unique and engaging situations that put all of your skills to the test. Nemesis is also an excellent antagonist, and you will find yourself constantly on edge as you figure out how to beat that advanced bio-weapon.
